तथा समभवच्चापि यदुवाच विभीषण: । क्षणेनातीन्द्रियाण्येषां चक्षूंषप्पासन् युधिष्ठिर,युधिष्ठि!! जैसा विभीषणने बताया था, उसका वैसा ही प्रभाव देखनेमें आया। इन सबकी आँखें क्षणभरमें अतीन्द्रिय वस्तुओंका साक्षात्कार करनेवाली हो गयीं
tathā samabhavac cāpi yad uvāca vibhīṣaṇaḥ | kṣaṇenātīndriyāṇy eṣāṃ cakṣūṃṣy āpaśyan yudhiṣṭhira ||
മാർകണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“വിഭീഷണൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവിച്ചത്. ഹേ യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ, ഒരു ക്ഷണത്തിനുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകൾ ഇന്ദ്രിയാതീതമായതും കാണാൻ ശേഷിയുള്ളവയായി മാറി.”
