चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

विवेश कवचं चास्य शरीरे सहजं तथा । युध्यमानस्य देवस्य प्रादुर्भवीति तत् सदा,तथा उन स्कन्ददेवके शरीरमें सहज (स्वाभाविक) कवचका प्रवेश हो गया, जो सदा उनके युद्ध करते समय प्रकट होता था
viveśa kavacaṃ cāsya śarīre sahajaṃ tathā | yudhyamānasya devasya prādurbhavīti tat sadā ||
അപ്പോൾ സ്കന്ദദേവന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽ സഹജമായ, ജന്മസിദ്ധമായ കവചം പ്രവേശിച്ചു; ദേവൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും അത് എപ്പോഴും സ്വയം പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു.
