चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

शक्तिर्धर्मो बल॑ तेज: कान्तत्वं सत्यमुन्नतिः । ब्रह्माण्यत्वमसम्मोहो भक्तानां परिरक्षणम्,राजन! शक्ति, धर्म, बल, तेज, कान्ति, सत्य, उन्नति, ब्राह्मणभक्ति, असम्मोह (विवेक), भक्तजनोंकी रक्षा, सुनका संहार और समस्त लोकोंका पालन--ये सारे गुण स्कन्दके साथ ही उत्पन्न हुए थे
śaktir dharmo balaṁ tejaḥ kāntatvaṁ satyam unnatiḥ | brāhmaṇyatvam asammoho bhaktānāṁ parirakṣaṇam, rājan! |
രാജാവേ! ശക്തി, ധർമ്മം, ബലം, തേജസ്, കാന്തി, സത്യം, ഉന്നതി, ബ്രാഹ്മണഭക്തി, അസമ്മോഹം (വിവേകം), ഭക്തരുടെ പരിരക്ഷണം—ഇവയെല്ലാം സ്കന്ദനോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ ജനിച്ചു.
