चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

Citrasena and the Kaurava engagement

अतीव शुशुभे तत्र पूज्यमानो महर्षिभि: | तत्र तत्‌ काउ्चनं छत्र प्रियमाणं व्यरोचत

atīva śuśubhe tatra pūjyamāno maharṣibhiḥ | tatra tat kāñcanaṃ chatraṃ prīyamāṇaṃ vyarocat ||

അവിടെ മഹർഷിമാർ ആദരിച്ച് പൂജിച്ചതിനാൽ അദ്ദേഹം അത്യന്തം ദീപ്തിയായി ശോഭിച്ചു. അതേ സ്ഥലത്ത് സ്നേഹപൂർവം മാനചിഹ്നമായി നൽകിയ സ്വർണമയ കുട അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മീതെ തിളങ്ങി പ്രകാശിച്ചു.
