जातिमृत्युजरादु:खै: सततं समभिद्रुत: । संसारे पच्यमानश्न दोषैरात्मकृतैर्नर:,मनुष्य अपने ही किये हुए अपराधोंके कारण जन्म-मृत्यु और जरासम्बन्धी दु:खोंसे सदा पीडित हो बारंबार संसारमें पचता रहता है
jāti-mṛtyu-jarā-duḥkhaiḥ satataṃ samabhidrutaḥ | saṃsāre pacyamānaś ca doṣair ātma-kṛtair naraḥ ||
മനുഷ്യൻ താനേ ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങളാൽ ജനനം, മരണം, ജര എന്നീ ദുഃഖങ്ങളാൽ നിരന്തരം പീഡിതനാകുന്നു; സംസാരചക്രത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ദഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
व्याध उवाच
Human suffering in saṃsāra—especially the inevitable pains of birth, death, and old age—is intensified and perpetuated by one’s own self-made faults; therefore ethical self-discipline and responsibility for one’s actions are essential.
In the Vyādha’s discourse, he instructs the listener by pointing to the human condition: people are repeatedly afflicted in worldly life, not merely by fate, but by the consequences of their own wrongdoing.
