Agni’s Withdrawal to the Forest and Identification with Āṅgirasa (अग्न्याङ्गिरस-इतिहासः)
कष्ट ७0४ रूयुवाच क्षन्तुमर्हसि मे विद्वन् भर्ता मे दैवतं महत् । स चापि क्षुधित: श्रान्तः प्राप्त: शुश्रूषितो मया
kṣantum arhasi me vidvan bhartā me daivataṁ mahat | sa cāpi kṣudhitaḥ śrāntaḥ prāptaḥ śuśrūṣito mayā ||
അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിദ്വാനേ, എന്നെ ക്ഷമിക്കണം. എനിക്ക് ഭർത്താവാണ് മഹാദൈവം. അവനും വിശപ്പും ക്ഷീണവും കൊണ്ട് ഇവിടെ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവനെ ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
