सप्तभिर्दिवसै: खात्वा दृष्टो धुन्धुर्महाबल: । कुवलाश्वके पुत्रोंने सात दिनोंतक खुदाई करनेके बाद उस बालुकामय समुद्रमें (छिपे हुए) महाबली धुन्धुको देखा
saptabhir divasaiḥ khātvā dṛṣṭo dhundhur mahābalaḥ | kuvalāśvake putraiḥ sa balukāmaye samudre (channaḥ) ||
മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഏഴ് ദിവസങ്ങൾ കുഴിച്ച ശേഷം, കുവലാശ്വന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ആ മണൽസമുദ്രത്തിനുള്ളിൽ മറഞ്ഞുകിടന്ന മഹാബലനായ ധുന്ധുവിനെ കണ്ടു.
