स तेन कर्मणा$5प्रोति प्रजापतिसलोकताम् | जो अपनी शक्तिके अनुसार अच्छे ढंगसे तैयार किया हुआ भोजन ब्राह्मणोंको अर्पित करता है वह उस पुण्यकर्मके प्रभावसे प्रजापतिके लोकमें जाता है
sa tena karmaṇā prāpnoti prajāpati-salokatām |
മാർകണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ പുണ്യകർമ്മത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായി അവൻ പ്രജാപതിയുടെ ലോകത്തിൽ വാസം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. സ്വന്തം ശേഷിയനുസരിച്ച് നന്നായി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ആഹാരം ബ്രാഹ്മണർക്കു സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ, ആ പുണ്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭാവത്താൽ പ്രജാപതി-ലോകം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
