अध्याय १९० — वामदेव-वाम्य-वृत्तान्तः
The Vāmadeva Horses Episode and the Ethics of Promise
तावत् स्वपिमि विश्वात्मा सर्वभूतानि मोहयन् । एवं सर्वमहं कालमिहास्से मुनिसत्तम
tāvat svapimi viśvātmā sarvabhūtāni mohayān | evaṁ sarvam ahaṁ kālam ihāsse munisattama ||
ദേവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—അത്രകാലം ഞാൻ വിശ്വാത്മാവായി സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളെയും മോഹിപ്പിച്ച് നിദ്രിക്കുന്നു. മുനിസത്തമാ! ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ സർവ്വകാലവും ഇവിടെ തന്നെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
