उवाच वचन चेदं प्रीयमाण: कृताञ्जलि: सुरासुरैरसहां हि कर्म यत् साधितं त्वया,और अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हो हाथ जोड़कर कहा--'अर्जुन! आज तुमने वह कार्य कर दिखाया है जो देवताओं और असुरोंके लिये भी असाध्य था
uvāca vacanaṁ cedaṁ prīyamāṇaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ | surāsurair asahyaṁ hi karma yat sādhitaṁ tvayā ||
അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൈകൂപ്പി അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ മധുരവചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു—“അർജുനാ! ഇന്ന് നീ ദേവന്മാർക്കും അസുരന്മാർക്കും പോലും അസഹ്യമായിരുന്ന ആ കൃത്യം സാധിച്ചു കാണിച്ചു.”
