ततो<हं शरवर्षेण महता कुरुनन्दन मार्गमावृत्य दैत्यानां गतिं चैषामवारयम्,कुरुनन्दन! तब मैं बाणोंकी भारी बौछार करके दैत्योंका मार्ग रोक लिया और उनकी गति कुण्ठित कर दी

അപ്പോൾ, കുരുനന്ദനേ! ഞാൻ മഹത്തായ ശരവർഷംകൊണ്ട് വഴി മൂടി ദൈത്യരുടെ ഗതി തടഞ്ഞു; അവരുടെ മുന്നേറ്റത്തിന്റെ വേഗം ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു।
