इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत यक्षयुद्धपर्वमें कुबेरवाक्यविषयक एक सौ बासठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate vanaparvake antargata yakṣayuddhaparvaṇi kuberavākyaviṣayaka ekaśatadvāṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീമഹാഭാരതത്തിലെ വനപർവാന്തർഗതമായ യക്ഷയുദ്ധപർവത്തിൽ കുബേരവാക്യവിഷയകമായ നൂറ്റി അറുപത്തിരണ്ടാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
This line functions as a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it teaches how the epic self-organizes—by clearly marking the end of a chapter and identifying its subject (Kubera’s words) and its placement within the larger narrative structure (Vana Parva → Yakṣa-yuddha section).
The narrator (Vaiśampāyana) signals that the chapter has concluded. It indicates that the preceding content belonged to the Yakṣa-yuddha episode within the Forest Book and that the chapter’s focus was Kubera’s speech.
