चारुदेष्णेन संसक्तो विविन्ध्यो नाम दानव: । महारथ: समाज्ञातो महाराज महाधनु:,महाराज! चारुदेष्णके साथ महारथी एवं महान् धनुर्धर विविन्ध्य नामक दानव शाल्वकी आज्ञासे युद्ध कर रहा था
cārudeṣṇena saṁsaktaḥ vivindhyo nāma dānavaḥ | mahārathaḥ samājñāto mahārāja mahādhanuḥ ||
മഹാരാജാവേ! ചാരുദേഷ്ണനോടൊപ്പം വിവിന്ധ്യൻ എന്ന ദാനവൻ—മഹാരഥനെന്നും മഹാധനുർധരനെന്നും പ്രസിദ്ധൻ—യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
