The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage
निगृहीतं तु शूद्रेण यवक्रीतं स राक्षस: । ताडयामास शूलेन स भिन्नहृदयो5पतत्,शूद्रके द्वारा पकड़े गये यवक्रीतपर उस राक्षसने शूलसे प्रहार किया। इससे उसकी छाती फट गयी और वह प्राणशून्य होकर वहीं गिर पड़ा
nigṛhītaṃ tu śūdreṇa yavakrītaṃ sa rākṣasaḥ | tāḍayāmāsa śūlena sa bhinnahṛdayo 'patat ||
ശൂദ്രൻ പിടിച്ചുനിർത്തിയ യവക്രീതനെ ആ രാക്ഷസൻ ശൂലംകൊണ്ട് പ്രഹരിച്ചു. അവന്റെ നെഞ്ച് പിളർന്നു, അവൻ പ്രാണരഹിതനായി അവിടെയേ വീണു.
