Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७

ततः पीताम्बरधरो जगत्स्रष्टा जनार्दन: । गते दुर्योधने कृष्ण: किरीटिनमथाब्रवीत्‌ । अयुध्यमान: कां बुद्धिमास्थायाहं वृतस्त्वया,दुर्योधनके चले जानेपर पीताम्बरधारी जगत्स्रष्टा जनार्दन श्रीकृष्णने अर्जुनसे कहा --'पार्थ! मैं तो युद्ध करूँगा नहीं; फिर तुमने क्या सोच-समझकर मुझे चुना है?”

tataḥ pītāmbaradharo jagatsraṣṭā janārdanaḥ | gate duryodhane kṛṣṇaḥ kirīṭinam athābravīt | ayudhyamānaḥ kāṃ buddhim āsthāyāhaṃ vṛtas tvayā |

ദുര്യോധനൻ പോയശേഷം, പീതാംബരധാരിയായ ജഗത്സ്രഷ്ടാവ് ജനാർദനൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ കിരീടധാരിയായ അർജുനനോടു പറഞ്ഞു—“പാർത്ഥാ! ഞാൻ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; പിന്നെ ഏതു ബുദ്ധിയോടും ഏതു ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടും കൂടി നീ എന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു?”
