धृष्टद्युम्नश्ष॒ पाउ्चाल्य: कमिवाद्य न शातयेत् । शत्रुमध्ये शरान् मुडचन् देवराडशनीमिव
dhṛṣṭadyumnaś ca pāñcālyaḥ kam ivādya na śātayet | śatrumadhye śarān muñcan devarāḍ aśanīm iva ||
പാഞ്ചാലരാജകുമാരനായ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നൻ—ഇന്ന് അവൻ ആരെയാണു തകർക്കാതെ വിടുക? ശത്രുമദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ തന്നെ അമ്പുകൾ വിടുന്ന അവൻ, ദേവരാജൻ ഇന്ദ്രൻ വജ്രം എറിയുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ്.
