दुर्योधनेयं चिन्ता मे शश्वन्न व्युपशाम्यति । सत्यं होतदहं मन्ये प्रत्यक्ष नानुमानत:,“वत्स दुर्योधन! मेरी यह चिन्ता कभी दूर नहीं होती है, क्योंकि तुम्हारा पक्ष दुर्बल है। मैं यह बात अनुमानसे नहीं कहता हूँ; प्रत्यक्ष देख रहा हूँ; अतः इसीको सत्य मानता हूँ

Transliteration

duryodhaneyaṁ cintā me śaśvān na vyupaśāmyati | satyaṁ hotad ahaṁ manye pratyakṣaṁ nānumānataḥ |

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ദുര്യോധനാ, എന്റെ ഈ ആശങ്ക ഒരിക്കലും പൂർണ്ണമായി ശമിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഇത് ഞാൻ സത്യമെന്നു കരുതുന്നു—അനുമാനത്താൽ അല്ല, പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട്.”
