उन्हें देखते ही वे सहस्रों मुनि तथा सूंजयवंशी वयोवृद्ध राजा होत्रवाहन सभी उठकर खड़े हो गये ।। ततो दृष्टवा कृतातिथ्यमन्योन्यं ते वनौकस: । सहिता भरतमश्रेष्ठ निषेदु: परिवार्य तम्‌,भरतश्रेष्ठ! तदनन्तर उनका आदर-सत्कार किया गया; फिर वे वनवासी महर्षि एक- दूसरेकी ओर देखते हुए एक साथ उन्हें घेरकर बैठे

tato dṛṣṭvā kṛtātithyam anyonyaṁ te vanaukasaḥ | sahitā bharataśreṣṭha niṣeduḥ parivārya tam ||

അപ്പോൾ യഥോചിതമായ അതിഥിസത്കാരം നടന്നതായി കണ്ടു, വനവാസികളായ മഹർഷിമാർ പരസ്പരം സമ്മതത്തോടെ ഒരുമറ്റൊരാളെ നോക്കി, ഹേ ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഒരുമിച്ച് അവനെ ചുറ്റിനിരുത്തി ഇരുന്നു।
