तत्र गच्छस्व भद्र ते ब्रूयाश्लैनं वचो मम । अभिवाद्य च त॑ मूर्थ्ना तपोवृद्ध दृढब्रतम्‌,बेटी! तेरा कल्याण हो। तू वहीं जा और उन दृढ़व्रती तपोवृद्ध महात्माको अभिवादन करके पहले उनसे मेरी बात कहना

tatra gacchasva bhadra te brūyāś cainaṃ vaco mama | abhivādya ca taṃ mūrdhnā tapovṛddhaṃ dṛḍhavratam ||

അവിടെ പോകുക, ഭദ്രേ—നിനക്കു മംഗളം വരട്ടെ. തപസ്സിൽ വൃദ്ധനും ദൃഢവ്രതനും ആയ ആ തപസ്വിയെ ശിരസ്സു നമിച്ച് അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്ത് ആദ്യം എന്റെ ഈ വാക്ക് അവനോട് പറയുക.
