परशुरामजी सदा पर्वतश्रेष्ठ महेन्द्रपर रहा करते हैं। वहाँ वेदवेत्ता महर्षि, गन्धर्व तथा अप्सराओंका भी निवास है
Paraśurāmaḥ sadā parvataśreṣṭhe Mahendre parvata āste. Tatra vedavidaḥ maharṣayaḥ gandharvāś ca apsarasaś ca api nivasanti.
ഹോത്രവാഹനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“പരശുരാമൻ എപ്പോഴും പർവ്വതശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ മഹേന്ദ്രപർവ്വതത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു. ആ പുണ്യപ്രദേശത്ത് വേദവിദഗ്ധരായ മഹർഷിമാരും ഗന്ധർവന്മാരും അപ്സരസ്സുകളും കൂടി പാർക്കുന്നു.”
