यथा प्राणांश्ष॒ राज्यं च राजन्‌ कामसुखानि च । त्यजेयं न पुनः सत्यं तेन सत्येन खं ब्रज

Transliteration

yathā prāṇān rājyaṃ ca rājan kāmasukhāni ca | tyajeyaṃ na punaḥ satyaṃ tena satyena khaṃ braja ||

Translation

ഹേ രാജാവേ! ഞാൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനും രാജ്യമും കാമജന്യസുഖങ്ങളും പോലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാം; എന്നാൽ സത്യം ഒരിക്കലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കില്ല. ആ സത്യത്തിന്റെ ബലത്താൽ നീ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് ഉയരുക.
