ययातिपतन-कारणम् (The Cause of Yayāti’s Fall) — Nārada’s Counsel on Pride and Reconciliation
यथा सत्येन मे धर्मो यथा सत्येन पावक: । प्रीतः शतक्रतुश्चैव तेन सत्येन खं ब्रज
yathā satyena me dharmo yathā satyena pāvakaḥ | prītaḥ śatakratuś caiva tena satyena khaṃ braja ||
സത്യത്തിൽ എന്റെ ധർമ്മം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതുപോലെ, സത്യത്തിൽ പാവകൻ (അഗ്നി) നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതുപോലെ, സത്യത്തിൽ ശതക്രതു (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) പോലും പ്രസന്നനാകുന്നതുപോലെ— ആ സത്യത്തിന്റെ ബലത്താൽ നീ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുക.
