वस्त्र चैव विचित्र च गन्धं चैव विशेषत: । देववत् पूजयेत् तं तु विष्णुलोकमवाप्नुयात्
vastraṃ caiva vicitraṃ ca gandhaṃ caiva viśeṣataḥ | devavat pūjayet taṃ tu viṣṇulokam avāpnuyāt ||
വർണവസ്ത്രങ്ങളും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് സുഗന്ധദ്രവ്യങ്ങളും അർപ്പിച്ച്, ആ വാചകനെ ദേവനെപ്പോലെ പൂജിക്കണം; ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ വിഷ്ണുലോകം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
