रूपवान् सुभगो दान्त: सत्यवादी जितेन्द्रिय: । दानमानगृहीतश्न कार्यो भवति वाचक:
rūpavān subhago dāntaḥ satyavādī jitendriyaḥ | dānamānagṛhītaś ca kāryo bhavati vācakaḥ ||
രൂപവാനും സൌഭാഗ്യവാനും, ദാന്തൻ (സംയമി), സത്യവാദി, ജിതേന്ദ്രിയൻ— ഇങ്ങനെ ഉള്ള പണ്ഡിതനെ ദാനവും മാനവും നൽകി അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച് വാചകനായി നിയമിക്കണം.
