नारद उवाच शक्त्यान्नदानं सततं तितिक्षार्जवमार्दवम् यथार्हप्रतिपूजा च शस्त्रमेतदनायसम्
nārada uvāca | śaktyānnadānaṃ satataṃ titikṣārjavamārdravam | yathārha-pratipūjā ca śastram etad anāyasam ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സ്വശക്തിയനുസരിച്ച് നിരന്തരം അന്നദാനം ചെയ്യുക, ക്ഷമ, നേര്മ, മൃദുത്വം, അർഹർക്കു യഥോചിതമായ ആദര-ആതിഥ്യം നൽകുക—ഇതുതന്നെയാണ് ഇരുമ്പില്ലാതെ തീർത്ത ആ അനായാസ ആയുധം।
