वायुदेव उवाच अनायसं मुने शस्त्र मृदु विद्यामहं कथम् | येनैषामुद्धरे जिह्नलां परिमृज्यानुमृज्य च
vāyudeva uvāca | anāyasaṁ mune śastraṁ mṛdu vidyām ahaṁ katham | yenaiṣām uddhare jihvalāṁ parimṛjyānumṛjya ca |
വായുദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മുനേ! ഇരുമ്പിൽ നിന്നല്ലാത്ത ആ മൃദുവായ, അനായാസ ആയുധം ഞാൻ എങ്ങനെ അറിയും? ഏതു മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പരിമാർജനം-അനുമാർജനം ചെയ്ത് ഇവരുടെ നാവുകളുടെ (വക്രത) പിഴുതുകളയാം?
