अव्यक्त–प्रकृति–इन्द्रियविचारः

The Unmanifest, Prakṛtis, and the Sense-Complex

प्रसक्तबुद्धिर्विषयेषु यो नरो न बुध्यते हयात्महितं कथंचन । स सर्वभावानुगतेन चेतसा नृपामिषेणेव झषो विकृष्यते

prasaktabuddhir viṣayeṣu yo naro na budhyate hy ātma-hitaṃ kathaṃcana | sa sarva-bhāvānugatena cetasā nṛpāmiṣeṇeva jhaṣo vikṛṣyate ||

വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ ബുദ്ധി ആസക്തനായ മനുഷ്യൻ എങ്ങനെയും തന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ ഹിതം തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നില്ല. രാജാവേ! കൊക്കിൽ കുത്തിയ മാംസമെന്ന ആമിഷത്തിൽ ആകർഷിതമായ മീൻ വലിക്കപ്പെട്ടു ദുഃഖം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, അവനും—എല്ലാ തരത്തിലുള്ള വാസനകളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ ചിത്തം മൂലം—ഭോഗവിഷയങ്ങളിലേക്കു വലിക്കപ്പെട്ടു ശോകത്തിലേക്ക് വീഴുന്നു।
