अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः
Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning
एवमुक्ता महाबाहो मृत्यु: परपुरंजय । न व्याजहार तस्थौ च प्रह्मा भगवदुन्मुखी
evam uktā mahābāho mṛtyuḥ parapuraṃjaya | na vyājahāra tasthau ca brahmā bhagavad-unmukhī ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ മഹാബാഹോ, ഹേ ശത്രുപുരജയ രാജാവേ! ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മൃത്യു ഒരു വാക്കും ഉച്ചരിക്കാനായില്ല. ബ്രഹ്മാവിനെ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ച് കൈകൂപ്പി അവൾ നിശ്ശബ്ദയായി നിന്നു।
