कार्त्तिकेयाभिषेकः — Consecration of Kārttikeya and the Enumeration of His Retinue
तेनासीदतितेजस्वी दीप्तिमान् हव्यवाहन: । न चैव धारयामास गर्भ तेजोमयं तदा
tenāsīdatitejasvī dīptimān havyavāhanaḥ | na caiva dhārayāmāsa garbhaṃ tejomayaṃ tadā ||
ആ കാരണത്താൽ ഹവ്യവാഹനനായ അഗ്നി അത്യന്തം തേജസ്വിയും ദീപ്തിമാനുമായി ജ്വലിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അന്നേരം പൂർണ്ണമായും തേജോമയമായ ആ ഗർഭത്തെ അവൻ തന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ധരിക്കുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
