Daiva–Puruṣakāra Saṃvāda
Kṛpa’s Counsel on Destiny and Human Effort
चेष्टामकुर्वल्लैभते यदि किंचिद् यदृच्छया । यो वा न लभते कृत्वा दुर्दर्शा तावुभावषि
ceṣṭām akurvan laibhate yadi kiñcid yadṛcchayā | yo vā na labhate kṛtvā durdarśā tāv ubhāv api ||
കൃപാചാര്യർ പറഞ്ഞു—ആരെങ്കിലും പരിശ്രമം ചെയ്യാതെ യാദൃച്ഛികമായി എന്തെങ്കിലും നേടുകയോ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പരിശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടും ഒന്നും ലഭിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ—ഇരുവിധക്കാരെയും കാണുക അത്യന്തം ദുർലഭമാണ്.
