Vidura’s Report and Portents

मनस्विनमजानन्तो मैवं ब्रूयु: कुमारका: । एष वै दासपुत्रो हि प्रतिविन्ध्यं ममात्मजम्‌

manasvinam ajānanto maivaṁ brūyuḥ kumārakāḥ | eṣa vai dāsaputro hi prativindhyaṁ mamātmajam ||

ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഉന്നതാത്മാവായ പുരുഷന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ മൂല്യം അറിയാതെ കുമാരന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറയരുത്. ഇവൻ വാസ്തവത്തിൽ ദാസപുത്രൻ തന്നെയാകുന്നു; എന്നാൽ പ്രതിവിന്ധ്യൻ എന്റെ സ്വന്തം പുത്രനാണ്.
