Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ
भीष्मश्न धृतराष्ट्रश्न कुरुवृद्धतमावुभौ । समेत्य नाहतु: किंचिद् विदुरश्च महामति:,“पितामह भीष्म और पिता धृतराष्ट्र--ये दोनों कुरुवंशके सबसे वृद्ध पुरुष हैं। ये तथा परम बुद्धिमान् विदुरजी मिलकर कुछ उत्तर क्यों नहीं देते?”
bhīṣmaś ca dhṛtarāṣṭraś ca kuruvṛddhatamāv ubhau | sametya nāhatuḥ kiñcid viduraś ca mahāmatiḥ ||
പിതാമഹൻ ഭീഷ്മനും ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രനും—കുരുക്കളിൽ ഏറ്റവും വൃദ്ധരായ ഈ ഇരുവരും; മഹാമതി വിദുരനും കൂടെയുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ടും അവർ ഒന്നും മറുപടി പറയാത്തതെന്ത്?
