Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ

याज्ञसेन्या यदुक्तं तद्‌ वाक्‍्यं विब्रूत पार्थिवा: । अविवेकेन वाक्यस्य नरक: सद्य एव न:,'भूमिपालो! द्रौपदीने जो प्रश्न उपस्थित किया है, उसका आपलोग उत्तर दें। यदि इसके प्रश्बषका ठीक-ठीक विवेचन नहीं किया गया, तो हमें शीघ्र ही नरक भोगना पड़ेगा

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: yājñasenyā yad uktaṃ tad vākyaṃ vibrūta pārthivāḥ | avivekena vākyasya narakaḥ sadya eva naḥ ||

ഹേ ഭൂമിപാലന്മാരേ! യാജ്ഞസേനി (ദ്രൗപദി) പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കിന് വ്യക്തമായ മറുപടി പറയുക. ആ വാക്കിനെ വിവേകത്തോടെ പരിശോധിക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ, നമുക്ക് ഉടൻ തന്നെ നരകഫലം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.
