मयस्य प्रतिकृतिः — Maya’s Offer and the Commissioning of the Sabhā
मय उवाच अस्मात् कृष्णात् सुसंरब्धात् पावकाच्च दिधक्षत: । त्वया त्रातो5स्मि कौन्तेय ब्रूहि कि करवाणि ते,मयासुर बोला--कुन्तीनन्दन! आपने अत्यन्त क्रोधमें भरे हुए इन भगवान् श्रीकृष्णसे तथा जला डालनेकी इच्छावाले अग्निदेवसे भी मेरी रक्षा की है। अतः बताइये, मैं (इस उपकारके बदले) आपकी क्या सेवा करूँ?
maya uvāca: asmāt kṛṣṇāt susaṁrabdhāt pāvakāc ca didhakṣataḥ | tvayā trāto 'smi kaunteya brūhi kiṁ karavāṇi te ||
മയാസുരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കൗന്തേയാ! അത്യന്തം ക്രോധത്തിൽ ജ്വലിച്ചിരുന്ന കൃഷ്ണനിൽ നിന്നും, എന്നെ ദഹിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച അഗ്നിദേവനിൽ നിന്നും നീ എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു. പറയുക—ഈ ഉപകാരത്തിന് പകരമായി ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്ത് സേവനം ചെയ്യണം?
