ततः शर: सो5भ्यहनत् किरीटं तस्येन्द्रदत्तं सुदृढं च धीमतः । अथार्जुनस्योत्तमगात्रभूषणं धरावियद्द्योसलिलेषु विश्रुतम्
tataḥ śaraḥ so ’bhyahanat kirīṭaṃ tasyendradattaṃ sudṛḍhaṃ ca dhīmataḥ | athārjunas yottamagātrabhūṣaṇaṃ dharāviyaddyo-salileṣu viśrutam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പിന്നെ ആ ശരം ബുദ്ധിമാനായ അർജുനന്റെ ഇന്ദ്രൻ നൽകിയ അത്യന്തം ദൃഢമായ കിരീടത്തെ പ്രഹരിച്ചു. അർജുനന്റെ ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ശിരോഭൂഷണം ഭൂമിയിലും ആകാശത്തിലും ദിവ്യ ജലലോകങ്ങളിലും പ്രസിദ്ധമായിരുന്നു. രഥം അല്പം താഴ്ന്നതിനാൽ കർണന്റെ സർപ്പമുഖ ബാണം അർജുനന്റെ തലയിൽ അല്ല, ആ പ്രശസ്ത കിരീടത്തിലേക്കാണ് പതിച്ചത്.
