Dharma-rahasya Instruction: Vows, Truth, and Non-injury
अर्जुन समरे हन्यां मां वा हन्याद् धनंजय: । स मे कदाचिदद्यैव भवेद् भीमसमागमात्,“मेरे हृदयमें दीर्घकालसे यह अभिलाषा बनी हुई है कि समरांगणमें अर्जुनका वध करूँ अथवा वे ही मुझे मार डालें। कदाचित् भीमसेनके साथ समागम होनेसे मेरी वह इच्छा आज ही पूरी हो जाय
arjunaṃ samare hanyāṃ māṃ vā hanyād dhanañjayaḥ | sa me kadācid adyaiva bhaved bhīmasamāgamāt ||
സമരത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അർജുനനെ വധിക്കട്ടെ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ധനഞ്ജയൻ എന്നെ വധിക്കട്ടെ. ഭീമസേനനുമായി സമാഗമം മൂലം, എന്റെ ആ ദീർഘകാല ആഗ്രഹം ഇന്നുതന്നെ സഫലമാകാം.
