द्रोणवध-प्रश्नः
Droṇa’s Fall: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Inquiry
प्रभद्रकास्तु काम्बोजा: षट्सहस्राण्युदायुधा: । नानावर्णहयै: श्रेष्ठेहेमवर्णरथध्वजा:
prabhadrakās tu kāmbojāḥ ṣaṭsahasrāṇy udāyudhāḥ | nānāvṛṇahayaḥ śreṣṭhā hemavarṇarathadhvajāḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇവർക്കുപുറമെ ‘പ്രഭദ്രകർ’ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ആറായിരം കാംബോജ യോദ്ധാക്കൾ ആയുധമെടുത്ത് മുന്നേറി. നാനാവർണ്ണത്തിലുള്ള ശ്രേഷ്ഠ അശ്വങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തരായി, സ്വർണ്ണവർണ്ണ രഥധ്വജങ്ങളാൽ ശോഭിച്ച്, ധനുസ്സു വലിച്ച് ബാണവൃഷ്ടിയാൽ ശത്രുക്കളെ കുലുക്കി, സമഭാവത്തോടെ മരണവും സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ സന്നദ്ധരായി അവർ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നന്റെ പിന്നാലെ പിന്നാലെ പോയി।
