इत्येतद् वचन श्रुत्वा भारद्वाजस्य सारथि: । प्रत्युवाच ततो द्रोणं सर्वशस्त्रभूतां वरम्
ity etad vacanaṃ śrutvā bhāradvājasya sārathiḥ | pratyuvāca tato droṇaṃ sarvaśastrabhūtāṃ varam ||
ഈ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട ശേഷം, ഭാരദ്വാജപുത്രനായ ദ്രോണന്റെ സാരഥി, എല്ലാ ശസ്ത്രധാരികളിലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ ദ്രോണനോട് അപ്പോൾ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
