शकुनि: प्रतिविन्ध्यं तु पराक्रान्तं पराक्रमी । अभ्यद्रवत राजेन्द्र मत्त: सिंह इव द्विपम्
śakuniḥ prativindhyaṃ tu parākrāntaṃ parākramī | abhyadravat rājendra mattaḥ siṃha iva dvipam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജേന്ദ്രാ! പരാക്രമത്തോടെ മുന്നേറുന്ന പ്രതിവിന്ധ്യനെ കണ്ട പരാക്രമിയായ ശകുനി, മദോന്മത്ത സിംഹം ആനയെ ആക്രമിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന്റെ മേൽ പാഞ്ഞുകയറി.
