अलड्कारै: कवचै: केतुभिश्न सुखप्रणादैहेंषितैर्वा हयानाम् । भ्राजिष्मती दुष्प्रतिवीक्षणीया येषां चमूस्ते विजयन्ति शत्रून्
alaṅkāraiḥ kavacaiḥ ketubhiś ca sukhapraṇādaiḥ heṣitaiś ca hayānām | bhrājiṣmatī duṣprativīkṣaṇīyā yeṣāṃ camūs te vijayanti śatrūn ||
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അലങ്കാരങ്ങൾ, കവചങ്ങൾ, ധ്വജകേതുക്കൾ, മംഗളകരമായ ധൈര്യനാദങ്ങൾ, സിംഹനാദങ്ങൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കുതിരകളുടെ ഹേഷിതം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ആരുടെ സൈന്യം അത്യന്തം ദീപ്തമായി ശത്രുക്കൾക്ക് നോക്കാൻപോലും ദുഷ്കരമാകുന്നുവോ— അവർ തീർച്ചയായും ശത്രുക്കളെ ജയിക്കും।
