Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse
यजस्व मदनुज्ञात: प्राप्य एष क्रतुस्त्वया । युनक्तु नो भवान् कार्ये यत्र वाउछसि भारत,इसलिये भारत! आप हमारी अनुमतिसे स्वयं ही इस यज्ञका अनुष्ठान कीजिये तथा हमलोगोंमेंसे जिसको जिस कामपर लगाना चाहते हों, उसे उस कामपर लगनेकी आज्ञा दीजिये
yajasva mad-anugñātaḥ prāpya eṣa kratus tvayā | yunaktu no bhavān kārye yatra vāñchasi bhārata ||
വായു പറഞ്ഞു— ഭാരതാ! ഞങ്ങളുടെ അനുവാദം ലഭിച്ചതിനാൽ ഈ ക്രതു ഇപ്പോൾ നിനക്കു കൈവശമായി. അതിനാൽ നീ തന്നേ യജ്ഞം അനുഷ്ഠിക്ക. ഞങ്ങളിലാരെയെങ്കിലും ഏത് കാര്യത്തിൽ നിയോഗിക്കണമെന്നു നീ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവരെ അതിലേക്കു ആജ്ഞാപിക്ക.
