Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

शेषा: प्रजानां पतय: स्रोतोभ्यस्तस्य जज्ञिरे । ऋषयो रोमकूपेभ्य: स्वेदाच्छन्दो बलान्मन:,शेष प्रजापतिगण उनके श्रवण आदि इन्द्रियोंसे उत्पन्न हुए। रोमकूपोंसे ऋषि, पसीनेसे छन्‍्द और वीर्यसे मनकी उत्पत्ति हुई

śeṣāḥ prajānāṁ patayaḥ srotobhyaḥ tasya jajñire | ṛṣayo romakūpebhyaḥ svedāc chando balān manaḥ ||

ശേഷിച്ച പ്രജാപതിമാർ അവന്റെ സ്രോതസ്സുകളിൽ നിന്ന് (ഇന്ദ്രിയപ്രവാഹങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന്) ജനിച്ചു. രോമകൂപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഋഷിമാർ, വിയർപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് വേദഛന്ദസ്സുകൾ, അവന്റെ ബലം/വീര്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മനസ്സ് ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു.
