शास्त्रप्रामाण्यसूक्ष्मं तु विधिं पिण्डस्य संस्मरन्‌ | ततो दर्भेषु तत्‌ सर्वमदर्द भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

śāstraprāmāṇyasūkṣmaṃ tu vidhiṃ piṇḍasya saṃsmaran | tato darbheṣu tat sarvam adarda bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ശാസ്ത്രപ്രമാണ്യത്തോടെ നിശ്ചിതമായ പിണ്ഡദാനത്തിന്റെ സൂക്ഷ്മവിധി സ്മരിച്ച്, ഹേ ഭാരതവൃഷഭാ, ഞാൻ കണ്ണിനു മുന്നിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായതിനു വഴങ്ങാതെ, വിധിപ്രകാരം ആ എല്ലാം ദർഭ (കുശ) പുല്ലിന്മേലേ അർപ്പിച്ചു.
