सदैवोग्रतपा राजन्नग्न्यर्कसदृशद्युति: । धर्मज्ञ: सत्यवादी च तथेति प्रत्यभाषत । पुनश्चेद॑ं महाराज पप्रच्छ प्रस्थितं गुरुम्
bhīṣma uvāca |
sadaivogratapā rājann agny-arka-sadṛśa-dyutiḥ |
dharmajñaḥ satyavādī ca tatheti pratyabhāṣata |
punaś cedam mahārāja papraccha prasthitaṃ gurum ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! നിത്യവും ഉഗ്രതപസ്സിൽ നിരതനായ, അഗ്നിയെയും സൂര്യനെയും പോലെ ദീപ്തനായ, ധർമ്മജ്ഞനും സത്യവാദിയും ആയ വിപുലൻ “തഥാസ്തു” എന്നു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു. പിന്നെ, മഹാരാജാവേ, ഗുരു പ്രസ്ഥാനം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ അവൻ വീണ്ടും ചോദിച്ചു.
