Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्तो विपुलस्तेन तपस्वी नियतेन्द्रिय:
bhīṣma uvāca | ity ukto vipulas tena tapasvī niyatendriyaḥ |
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! ഗുരു ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അഗ്നിയെയും സൂര്യനെയും പോലെ ദീപ്തനായ, ഇന്ദ്രിയസംയമനമുള്ള, നിത്യവും കഠിനതപസ്സിൽ നിരതനായ, ധർമ്മജ്ഞനും സത്യവാദിയും ആയ വിപുലൻ “തഥാസ്തു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് ഗുരുവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. പിന്നെ, മഹാരാജാവേ, ഗുരു പുറപ്പെടാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ അവൻ വീണ്ടും ഇങ്ങനെ ചോദിച്ചു.
