गच्छस्व सुकृतं कृत्वा कि चान्यच्छोतुमिच्छसि । यावद्‌ ब्रवीमि विप्रर्षे अष्टावक्र यथातथम्‌

Transliteration

gacchasva sukṛtaṃ kṛtvā kiṃ cānyac chrotum icchasi | yāvad bravīmi viprarṣe aṣṭāvakra yathātatham ||

Translation

പുണ്യകർമ്മം ചെയ്തു പോകുക. ഇനി എന്താണ് കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്? പറയുക, ഹേ വിപ്രർഷി അഷ്ടാവക്രാ! ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കാനാകുന്നത്രയും എല്ലാം യഥാതഥമായി പറഞ്ഞുതരാം.
