हविध्रश्न पृषध्रश्न प्रतीप: शान्तनुस्तथा । अज: प्राचीनबर्हिश्व तथेक्ष्वाकुर्महायशा:

Transliteration

havidhraśnaḥ pṛṣadhraśnaḥ pratīpaḥ śāntanus tathā | ajaḥ prācīnabarhiś ca tathekṣvākur mahāyaśāḥ ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇപ്പോൾ ആ രാജർഷിമാരുടെ നാമങ്ങൾ കൂടി കേൾക്കുക: ഹവിധ്രശ്നൻ, പൃഷധ്രശ്നൻ, പ്രതീപൻ, ശാന്തനു; അതുപോലെ അജൻ, പ്രാചീനബർഹി, മഹായശസ്സുള്ള ഇക്ഷ്വാകു.”
