जपतां जुद्धतां चैव नित्यं च प्रयतात्मनाम्‌ | ऋषीणां परम जप्यं गुहमेतन्नराधिप,नरेश्वर! सदा शुद्धचित्त होकर जप करे, होम करनेवाले ऋषियोंके लिये यह परम गोपनीय मन्त्र है

japatāṁ yuddhatāṁ caiva nityaṁ ca prayatātmanām | ṛṣīṇāṁ parama-japyaṁ guhyam etan narādhipa ||

നിത്യമായി ജപിക്കുന്നവർക്കും, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കും, എപ്പോഴും സംയതാത്മാക്കളായിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കും—ഇത് പരമ ജപ്യമായ മന്ത്രമാണ്. ഹേ നരാധിപാ! ഇത് അത്യന്തം ഗുഹ്യമായ ഉപദേശം; പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ജപവും ഹോമവും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഋഷിമാർക്കായി—സദാ ശുദ്ധചിത്തത്തോടെ നിലനിർത്തേണ്ടത്.
