वेदान्तगो ब्राह्मण: स्यात् क्षत्रियो विजयी भवेत् । वैश्यो धनसमृद्धः स्याच्छूद्र: सुखमवाप्रुयात्
vedāntago brāhmaṇaḥ syāt kṣatriyo vijayī bhavet | vaiśyo dhanasamṛddhaḥ syāc chūdraḥ sukham avāpnuyāt ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ വിഷ്ണുസഹസ്രനാമം ശ്രവിക്കുകയും പാരായണം ചെയ്യുകയും കീർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ വേദാന്തത്തിൽ പാരംഗതനാകും; ക്ഷത്രിയൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ വിജയിക്കും; വൈശ്യൻ ധനസമൃദ്ധനാകും; ശൂദ്രൻ സുഖം പ്രാപിക്കും।
