कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः
Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
।। विपरीतस्तु धर्मात्मा रूपवानभिजायते
viparītastu dharmātmā rūpavān abhijāyate | devi! hiṁsāpremī manuṣyaḥ svapāpakarmakāraṇād anyeṣāṁ vadhyaḥ sarvaprāṇinām apriyaś cālpāyuś ca bhavati ||
മഹേശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹിംസയ്ക്കു വിരുദ്ധമായ സ്വഭാവമുള്ളവൻ ധർമ്മാത്മാവായും രൂപവാനായും ജനിക്കുന്നു. ദേവീ! ഹിംസയിൽ രമിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ തന്റെ പാപകർമ്മങ്ങളാൽ മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് വധ്യനാകുന്നു; സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കും അപ്രിയനാകുന്നു; അല്പായുസ്സോടെ ജനിക്കുന്നു.
